Edmonton, AB – March 2025 – Eleven-year-old author Zlata Prudyus has released her debut children’s book, Amy and the Magic Forest—a heartwarming, whimsical adventure about friendship, courage, and the magic of believing in yourself.

What began as a fifth-grade writing project at HongDe Elementary School in Vancouver has blossomed into a beautifully illustrated, published book now available worldwide. Zlata, with the support of her mother Roxi, co-developed the story and brought her vision to life through a collaborative self-publishing journey.

Amy and the Magic Forest tells the story of Amy, a curious and thoughtful girl who stumbles upon a mysterious voice in the forest. Guided by magical mushrooms, talking flowers, and a fairy named Freya, Amy faces a series of enchanted challenges—all while learning what it means to be a true friend.

With themes of imagination, loyalty, kindness, and emotional growth, this book is perfect for readers ages 7–11 who enjoy magical adventures with meaningful messages.
